Leadership Development

All members have a job within the chapter, be it an executive board position or an operational support role. Ticktockers in the NCL, Inc. Lamorinda Chapter have opportunities to engage in experiences that build essential skills, such as consensus and team building, event planning, conflict resolution, and parliamentary procedure. Throughout their six years of membership, Ticktockers grow from often shy 7th graders into young women of poise, confidence and social grace.

Leadership opportunities include:

  • Serving on Ticktocker Executive Council and Patroness Board of Directors
  • Public speaking at monthly Ticktocker and Patroness meetings, Mother-Daughter Tea/Recognition Event, and Senior Recognition
  • Event planning for Moraga Royale Tea, Father-Daughter outing, and Mother-Daughter Tea/Recognition Event
  • Skill building in a variety of annual chapter roles held by each member
